The General Overseer, Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye and Bishop David Oyedepo of the Living Faith World Outreach Ministry, among other prominent clerics have been urged to convene an urgent national prayer summit aimed at addressing challenges facing the country.
The General Overseer, Christ Holy Mountain, Ikotun, Lagos, Apostle Sediq Moses who called a press conference to address matters of national importance, said the prayer summit should address challenges of insecurity and corruption and the need for unity among Nigerians of every tribe and religious affiliation.

“The list of men of God who should come together in a national prayer summit is too numerous to mention. But it is not about the names but about the urgent need to rescue Nigeria from the precipice.  Some of the challenges confronting the country require pragmatic intervention from all clerics irrespective of their denominations.
They possess great spiritual powers capable of turning situations around for the better,” he said.
He proposed that the prayer summit be between now and the end of July 2018.
