Many Christians are searching for the right answer as I did when I was still a baby in Christ. I was once disturbed about the right answer until the Lord Jesus visited me. He gave me instances and related some scriptures for my better understanding.
I am optimistic this write-up will throw more lights to everyone who is willing to get the right answer or still worry.
The Lord Jesus gave me these scriptures:
Genesis 1:1,3; “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth….And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” (KJV)
Genesis 1:3 which says, “And God said, let there be light; and there was light. This means God creates everything by speaking. It is not that God mix cement with sand to make heaven and earth. He is not an architecture engineer. However, He makes everything through the word He speaks.
John 1-1-5, 14, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.…… And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us…” (KJV)
The Word was with God, the Word was God and in the beginning with God. All things were made by him (Word). Then, verse 14 says – the Word was made flesh and dwell among mankind. So, who is the Word?
Colossians 1:15-17, Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature; for by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible,…. all things were created by him, and for him; and he is before all things and by all things consist.” (KJV)
In John 10:30, Jesus says “I and my father are one.” So, if God cannot be seen physically, his son who is the image of Him can be physically seen and touched. After all, in 2000 years ago, the people saw Jesus. They touched his cloth and received their healings; Jesus ate and drank with them. John 1:14 acknowledges this that “the Word was made flesh and dwell among mankind.” And Genesis 1:1 says, “In the beginning God creates heaven and earth.” In addition, Colossians 1:15-16 acknowledges that Jesus creates everything – both in heaven and on earth; and by him all things consist.”

  1. How were all things in heaven and earth created? Through an action of speaking.
  2. Who speaks? God.
  3. God speaks what? Word
  4. Who is the Word? Jesus.
  5. Which Chapter clearly describes the Word? John 1:1-5.

Finally, I could confidently conclude that Jesus is God. In fact, 1 John 5:7 describes who God is in three special parts – “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.” (KJV).
