“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appoint you as a prophet to the nations.” – Jeremiah 1:5 NIV.
Is good to always check yourself to see where you are per time and to know if you are walking in God’s plan and purpose for your life or not.
You must understand that you were born to fulfill a purpose, you are not here in the world because you chose to, you didn’t choose to be born and your parents didn’t chose you God chose to bring you into this world to run a race, complete it and win a prize.
You are running a race in this world whether you know it or not and the only way to run successfully is to run your own particular race and remain in track because that is the rule of the game.
If you must run your own particular race and remain in track then it is important to understand your person (who you really are), the race that is set before you (God’s purpose for your life), and your track (the ways God wants you to fulfill His purpose that is peculiar to you alone).
Who are you?
Can you define yourself?
Can you say this is who you were created to be?
You must understand that God’s description of you is not the same with who your parents or people say you are and if you take people’s definition of you, what they think you should become in life and live your life based on their opinion you would live your life running the wrong race in the wrong track.
You are not who your parents say you are, you are not who your friends say you are, you are not who your degrees or certificates say you are because none of them is responsible for your life; you are who God says you are.
Only God knew how you were formed and why it was you who was formed in the womb and not another person.
Only Him knew why you were not miscarried by your mother but is willing to give you that knowledge if only you would make it possible for Him.
Who are you?
Who your parents are has nothing to do with who God created you to be, God chose your parents; your place of birth has nothing to do with who you were created to be; your nationality has nothing to do with who God created you to be.
You existed in God before your birth.
I want you to understand that your life didn’t start the day you were born, you existed in God before your parents came together to have you but you only started living in the earth the day you were conceived in your mother’s womb (Read Ephesians 1:3-6).
You existed in God before you were conceived in the womb but you were formed the day your mother conceived and only God knew the exact time you were formed in the womb which medical science can’t understand.
You parents might not be able to explain your birth but God can because He formed you in the womb and that is why only Him can tell you what you were born to do in life.
Your parents might not have plan for you but God has a plan and purpose for you which He wants you to discover a
nd fulfill. Your life might remain a mystery to many including your parents but your life should not be a mystery to you if only you would walk in God’s plan and purpose for your life.
I want you to learn from what God told Jeremiah; “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appoint you as a prophet to the nations.” (Jeremiah 1:5 NIV.
God told Jeremiah that He knew him before He formed him in his mother’s womb and already determined that Jeremiah would live his life on earth as a prophet to the nations.
God is the only one who knows you more than you know yourself.
He knows everyone of us before we were formed in the womb, nothing about us is hidden from Him.
He knows what everyone of us would do in life and He knows how everyone would end up. For Jeremiah God wanted him to be a prophet, but for you and I it could be another thing. If Jeremiah had tried to live as priest or goldsmith he would have be out of track and wouldn’t have fulfilled destiny.
Who are you?
Have you found out from God who He created you to be in life?
Why were you born?
This is a very important question which you must answer if you don’t want to run in vain.
Are you living the life you were meant to live?
Are you already walking in plan and purpose of God for you?
It doesn’t matter what you have been trained to do, it doesn’t matter how many degrees you have acquired what matters is what God brought you to the earth to do.
Don’t live for degrees, don’t live based on people’s opinion, live only according to God’s plan and purpose for you.
For Jeremiah, he was born to be a prophet to the nations, who were you born to be?
The day you know this and start living for the purpose is the day you start living and stop existing.
The world needs you, you are too valuable to run in vain, begin today to live for the purpose for which you were born. There is no reason to live if there is no purpose to live for.
