THE “GABBATHA” PROGRESSION

THE “G” PROGRESSION

GABBATHA

When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he brought Jesus out and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called The Pavement, but in Hebrew, Gabbatha. (John 19:13)

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11)

What could be best described in contemporary times as a court setting was pictured with the judge in full regalia, with His accusers everywhere and those who knew He was innocent of the crime he had been accused of, but were too afraid to rise to His defense.

Interestingly, this was all part of the divine script as scripted long before he showed up in flesh to dwell among us. I am talking about no other person but the man named Jesus.

So, there he was, fully surrounded by people He had at some point positively impacted either directly or indirectly, and all thy wanted was that his head hung on a stick.

The judge on the other hand for lack of sufficient evidence should have thrown the case out but for illogical reasons could not.

Life is progressional in nature and like it or not, we have or we might find ourselves in a similar angle at some point. Where it looks like the whole world is against us, and all that has been working before hand appears otherwise or we just have a feeling of helplessness.

It is particularly as such times I believe it’s pivotal that we all put the following to heart:

* The progression of one’s life, might reveal more tests and trials, however, we can simply rest in the fact that our triumph is only around the corner if only we BELIEVE HIM!

* Life is in phases and very often than not, very few persons have similar dimensions thus we must stop comparing that we might start conquering.

* I agree, it almost looks like mockery is inevitable at this stage but be still, and listen because God’s miraculous entry is closer than it was yesterday. Simply trust!

* The tense nature of the turn out of events more often than not, is only the beginning of the end of mundane things which would without doubt give way for a greater manifestation of His Glory. Be Unshaken!

Life is truly in phases and trust me this phase too would pass giving way for your testimonies to emerge. All you have to do is believe and you shall doubtless see!

To be continued….
