Christian Oyakhilome also known as Pastor Chris was born on the 7th of December 1961.
He is founder and president of Believers’ LoveWorld Incorporated popularly known as “Christ Embassy”. Christ embassy is a bible based church with its headquarters in Lagos.
The church has over 40,000 members comprising of several successful business executives and politicians.
Pastor Chris is a preacher, an author also a televangelist faith healer with three Christian television channels: LoveWorld TV, LoveWorld SAT and LoveWorld Plus.
Chris Oyakhilome is also the author of the daily devotional “Rhapsody of Realities“. It is available in 739 languages and allegedly distributed in “242 countries”, despite only being a maximum of 206 countries in the world On Rhapsody website the “Rhapsody of Realities” devotional is only available for download in some 150 languages but now the vision is to produce 250 million copies of the Rhapsody of Realities in 900 different languages to be distributed around the world.
Christ Embassy runs several arms including the Healing School, Rhapsody of Realities, LoveWorld Books, and an NGO called the Inner-city Missions for Children.
Pastor Chris began preaching in his youth.
His Pentecostal ministries primarily directs towards the youth of all classes.
Pastor Chris ministry holds meetings in the United Kingdom and the United States, and has “healing school” sessions in South Africa and Canada.
Pastor Chris is famous for the organization of Night of Bliss South Africa at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg.
Pastor Chris operates an International School of Ministry, which held one of its Ministers’ Network Conferences in 2016 with 5000 ministers in attendance from 145 countries, in Johannesburg, South Africa. Pastor Chris also hosts Higher Life conferences in Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, UK, US and Canada.
Pastor Chris’ social network platform, PastorChrisLive has more than 1.2 million Twitter followers.
He use this platform to run a global prayer network alongside his social networking website, Yookos with over 30 million followers and operates a Smartphone messenger called KingsChat.
In 2015, Chris Oyakhilome was given an honorary doctorate from Ambrose Alli University and Benson Idahosa University.
Pastor Chris future Africa Leaders Award is an initiative aimed at identifying, awarding and supporting young Africans who have demonstrated exemplary leadership through education, youth empowerment and mentoring, and through other projects aimed at helping young people to prepare for the future. Over 40 Africans have been awarded since 2013.
Pastor Chris was accused of siphoning funds from his members to foreign banks worth $35 million in 2011. The money laundering case was eventually dismissed as Pastor Chris pleaded not guilty.
Pastor Chris has been the target of scrutiny by the government of South Africa for his meetings and alleged miracles.
In 2016, the South African government threatened to jail Pastor Chris if his organization does not reveal what they do with all the donations they receive.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome married Anita Ebhodaghe in 1991. After 25 years of marriage, Anita Ebodaghe filed for divorce on April 9, 2014 at the Central Family Court in London, citing “Unreasonable Behavior.”
They divorced in February 2016.
Pastor Chris and Pastor Anita Ebhodaghe have two children Sharon and Charlane.
After the controversial separation they also decided to share their two children.
Sharon the eldest prefers Pastor Chris while Charlene, the mother.
