I came across a very old PFN (Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria) tape (1998, Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos), where the preacher obviously being attacked by some of his fellow preachers sang a song .. the song goes thus

“This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine
This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine
This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine
Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine” …

You may not like it BUT I WOULD LET IT SHINE…
It may not appeal to you BUT I WOULD LET IT SHINE, You may even be angry BUT I WOULD LET IT SHINE..

“I would not say because the G.O (Pastor Adeboye) is my father then I drop my own message and preach his own.
Any pastor within TREM should preach the message in TREM.
The day a pastor in our commission starts talking low on FAITH, that would be the last message he would preach in the commission, because that is my sensitive area.

Let everyone abide in the same calling to which he is called…the day we all start preaching the same core message, we LOSE relevance….
IF you need light in a particular area, humble yourself and go after those making proper waves in that area and connect..not to copy but to replicate….”

His name is Bishop David Oyedepo. Today you may not like it..you may even deny it..but that LIGHT is shining all over the world to the glory of God.
