At some point in our lives, we are down and need to be lifted up, encouraged and what better source of encouragement than the Bible.

The are too many promises made by God that are littered in scriptures to serve as a beacon of hope, strength and encouragement; because the Bible is not a product of man’s thinking but the living word of God.

Here are some verses/scripture quotes that have being of help to me and have lifted my spirit. I hope they do the same for you as you read and meditate on them.



  • Ps 9:9
